if prince has cinnamon girl, i might as well have lavender girl. i use reference for everything - the girl, the hand, the lavender branches. ingredients: green tea - staining purpose color pencil COPIC marker some ink pen that is somehow COPIC-soluble, i have to use Hi-Tec pen next time on-off 3 days of work yes, i know the right down corner is empty and i don't intend on filling it because ... because. |

It's insane but whenever I click on one of your pictures in my DevWatch list I never fail to be astonished out of my wits.... The utter simplicity and elegance of your style simply leaves me dumstruck! I love it!
Somehow I thought you had used watercolors for this but your list of (completely incomprehensible to me) various materials makes me realize why the color in this piece is so special. Your use of stains is beautiful, it's so difficult to let yourself go and just STAIN a drawing, but you managed it beautifully.
I really don't know what to say o_O

The tea produces great textures, I like how you used it here. The color scheme is also great, with the hair and the lavender flowers complementing each other

It's incredible, I can just stare at it for the longest of times, just taking it in and digesting it. Her expression! The lines! The form and balance! The colours! Subtle and distinguished both, just... incredible. Enchanting. The effect likely amplified by the song I'm listening too; Vienna Teng's Pontchartrain, a very fitting piece.
